We like to say we met at tazza, a classy martini bar. Which is, in fact, very true. The first time we met face to face, that is.
Here is a brief timeline of events.
August 26, 2005: "Hey cutie, hit me up if you want to grab drinks sometime."
- Rich, via MySpace {it's true. We met online.
Just about a week later: "That's bold of you. And how are you today {or something way dorky like that}." - Sarah, who read the message shortly after recieving it, forgot about it, because she had just celebrated her birthday, & took a few days to sober-up & realize she almost missed e v e r y t h i n g.
About two weeks: Chit-chat back & forth about art, life, families, hobbies, jobs, & so on. We decide to meet on Tuesday, September 13.
September 13: Sarah forgets her sister is coming to visit {I know, right?} & has to cancel last minute. Cannot get a hold of Rich via MySpace, tries to text him {any way to avoid actually talking on the phone...}. He never calls her back. She thinks that he thinks that she stood him up & therefore, will never agree to meet her again.
September 14: Sarah sends Rich a...well...not-so-nice message via MySpace bascially telling him that if he does not want to meet her then he should be ever-so-kind enough to tell her. Rich writes back saying, in fact, he did respond to her message, she just did not get it. *note* Sarah believes him because MySpace often sucks. We agree to meet that night.
That night: We meet at tazza. Talk about lucid dreaming & who knows what else. We go our separate way, both realizing that some good has just begun.
Fast-forward through many, many dates, concerts, movies, dinners, parties, & good times...
New Years 2006: Sarah decides Rich is her boyfriend & will refer to him as that in conversation.
April 2006: Rich decides he will {finally} call Sarah his girlfriend.
And that is the somewhat fuzzy timeline of how we met.

haha that is awesome. Our 'how we met' story changes depending on who we are talking to. it is either "we met in a bar" or "we met through a mutual friend" both of which are true (we met through a mutual friend and we happened to be in a bar) Some people just don't need to hear that we met in a bar, at least not at first :)
