I discovered the tilt-shift maker via Modish today & I am addicted. Usually requiring a special lens, tilt-shift is an effect that distorts the depth of field to the extent that the images look like miniatures.
I tried the effect on some photos I took on a farm in Vermont. Some photos, like the cows, work better than others, like the lambs, but it is still super cool! I want to try it out on some of my Paris photos. {click on the photos to make them larger}
In other news, my own work as been noticeably absent from this space in the last two weeks. I have a fairly large stack of invitations & such waiting to be photographed this weekend. Printing until 2am each night is taking a toll on my brain & I am forgetting things like how to count & when was the last time I took a shower {good thing my dog is the only one hanging around the studio with me}. I will be back to all things paper, gocco, & letterpress next week.
Happy weekend.

These are fun and the colors are fantastic. I actually own the special lens but I may have to try this...
