To my parents, Janet & David. When I was planning our wedding last year, my mom brought out her wedding album & her planning notebook. I snapped a few photos of her paper goods as well as the album.
They were married on June 17, 1978 in Dover, New Hampshire. They met when my mom was a junior & my dad was a senior in high school. He was the football & track star. She was the baton-twirler & on all the school clubs.
My mom with her parents, Leo & Beatrice, & her sisters, Joanne, Paula, & Elaine. You may remember that my Memere & Pepere celebrated their 70th Anniversary last year. 70!!
My mom with her wedding party. A hot trend of 1978 was to have colored flowers in your bridal bouquet. Her flowers were pink & white roses & shasta daisies.
Ready to head out to their honeymoon on Cape Cod.
