This image has been floating around my head since I first saw it on Snippet & Ink. I love it because of the warm colors, the lush dahlias, the perfectly simple white vessels, & the fruit. Fruit is a sweet touch {literally} & I am fan of guests having something to nibble on while they wait for their food. It is especialy appealing if we go with Sweet Berry Farm.
From this photo I extracted what I think will be our color palette. Rich & I both love green & brown {if you have ever seen our house...it is bascially the only colors you will find}. The brown, along with cream, will be our neutral base. To add a bit of warmth & feminity, I chose a soft peach & deep pinkish-red {technical names for colors here, I know...}.
Of course there may be a few random colors that pop in here - yellow, magenta...whatever colors the zinnias feel like being!
Oh I love this. Just perfect.
I am still working to convince my groom on the orange and gray color scheme. Maybe if I pop some of that pretty coral in there?

Perfect. Every time I see this photo it makes smile. I was dying to incorporate fruit into our centerpieces, unfortunately our color palette doesn't really work with this idea.
