Hello. How is your week going? So much is going on I feel like I have done enough work for it to already be Friday. But alas, it is only Wednesday. But it's okay because I have these lovely save the dates to share with you! As you may have guessed, artist & illustrator Jen of Swallowfield & I teamed up again! I love everything Jen does, but those little birds get me everytime, & the one standing atop the pinetree? I am taking him home with me {not really, he needs to be free with his birdie friends}.
Nina & Alex are getting married in Mount Desert Island, off the coast of Maine & home to Acadia National Park {& Bar Harbor & South West Harbor & really you should just go. It is a wonderful place}. They are planning a homespun wedding full of charm. The wedding will be held on a point overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Yummy local food will be served & guests will be dancing up a storm to a Bluegrass band. Amazing, right?
The save the dates were printed on 100% cotton paper in pearl white with sage green, gray, & slate blue inks. The envelopes were 100% recycled brown kraft. I cannot wait to see what Jen comes up with for their invitations!
i loved working with you again, sarah!

Just discovered your blog and love it! Your designs are great -- especially this invitation set! I love everything about it -- the stylized trees, the brown kraft envelopes, the calming colors... beautiful!
