One word: Finally!! My 2011 Limited Edition Letterpress Calendar is finally here! I started designing the calendar before our wedding, but with all of the final details that need to be completed in the month leading up to our wedding, my dream of printing it before our wedding was impossible. Ah well. Once we got back from our honeymoon in early October, I immediately got to work because I was already a month behind {at least according to my own schedule} & now it is complete.
This calendar is super special because it has custom calligraphy by Li Ward of Fat Orange Cat Studio. Li calligraphed each month & they look amazing letterpress printed in my favorite warm gray ink. Here are the details:
- Limited edition of 200. Only 150 will be sold in my shop! 15 of them will be available at Craftland. They sell out each year, usually before Christmas.
- 5 x 7" printed on 110lb 100% cotton Lettra paper in pearl white. There is a hole at the top & lovely 100% Italian cotton ribbon in chartreuse for hanging. The ribbons are from Angela Ligouri, just as last year. Love!
- Ink colors include candy-colored hues of blush pink, persimmon, yellow, lilac, sage, aqua blue, and warm gray. Includes some of my favorite vintage imagery & original illustrations.
- Calligraphy by Li Ward of Fat Orange Cat Studio.
- Each calendar was hand printed by me on my antique Golding Jobber No. 6, making each month truly unique due to texture & ink coverage. Each month passed through the press twice.
You may check out all of my letterpress printed holiday goods in my shop! I have another card to add, along with a few new any occasion cards & flat notes.
As always, thank you so much for checking out my work & my shop. This is my absolute favorite time of the year.
i love that calligraphy -- what a cool font.
