Hello! Today I have few more paper details from our wedding to share. I recycled some letterpress plates from our RSVP & paper band to create the cover of our program. Our program was a small booklet {4.5 x 6.5"} with one interior page which was digitally printed & included the order of service, our wedding party, & a small tribute to our family & friends who have passed. Rich punched all of the holes, & my mom, aunt, & I assembled the programs with a simple sage green satin ribbon.
Li Ward {our amazing photographer} also happens to be a talented calligrapher. I had Li calligraph all of our escort cards, two little signs for the escort cards & guest book, as well as our dessert table labels & buffet labels.
I love, love, LOVED our escort cards. I told Li to go nuts & she did! Instead of having numbers for each table, we had record albums. I printed & adhered mini-album covers to each card which made for a very fun & colorful escort card display. I found the wood holders at Brimfield this past summer. I was told they were used as display in the jewlery industry & they held cards perfectly.
For our guest book, I loved the idea of being able to open little notes for our guests. I bought mini-envelopes in various shapes & colors & I letterpress printed blank notes to fit inside of the envelopes. I adhered the envelopes into a square album. So many of our guests told us how much they loved the idea.
For our dinner & dessert buffet table labels, I had my sister-in-law, Deb's, illustrations made into rubber stamps & I stamped extra pieces of paper I had from our invitations. My mother made toffee & my sister & baged the pieces & closed them with labels I stamped as well. The images included a swallow, red-tailed hawk, horse, & cow. Li calligraphed those labels with white ink which I love on kraft paper.
This week I will be sharing details on our wedding blog including the AMAZING dessert table my sister, Jessica, created, our gorgeous flowers, & various photos from the day.
