Happy Friday! Confession: I did not quite get all of the studio's holiday cards out this year. Solution: Valentine's Day cards! I always loved Valentine's Day at school when you would spend a day making a little folder/basket/box/what-have-you to hold all of the Valentine's from your classmates with various cartoon characters on them. I loved picking out cards for each classmate {I am sure I looked way too deep into the sentiments, fretting over which to give to what person}. For my cards I letterpress printed a limited edition print with my collection of wood type. I then packaged them in glassine bags with washi tape. I incorporated the hearts I watercolored a few weeks ago into a pattern for the envelope liners as well as a little card I taped to the package. Everything was stuffed into gray envelopes & fancified with vintage stamps.
I decided the glassine & washi tape would be a really fun way to package a wedding invitation as well!
Have a wonderful weekend!
These are so fun and lovely. I especially love the envelope liners and the variety of stamps on the envelope!
