Alicia and Jamie were married this past weekend at the gorgeous Barn on Walnut Hill in North Yarmouth, Maine. I worked with Alicia and her wedding planner {and one of my favorites}, Meagan Gilpatrick of Maine Seasons Events, on the design. They wanted something that reflected the elegant simplicity of the barn and the decor, which included lace.
Instead of letterpress printing lace on the invitation, we decided to laser-cutting a design into the paper. A romantic script font was letterpress printed onto soft pink paper, then Sarah of Candyspotting, laser-cut the floral lace design. To keep the suite on the casual side, we did a postcard for the reply which was digitally printed on soft white paper.
The invitations were letterpress printed on soft pink 100% cotton paper with warm gray ink. The reply post cards were digitally printed on 100% cotton paper in soft pink and gray inks. The invitations were paired with soft pink inner envelopes (not shown) and soft white outer envelopes.
These are beautiful, Sarah, and they fit the day perfectly!
