This invitation suite has a lot to love - watercolors by the bride's father, wood veneer invitation, calligraphy by Mara of Neither Snow, Italian cotton ribbon from Angela Liguori, and "Color Games" and "Talent Show" listed on the reply card. Not to mention the wedding took place in Maine and was perfectly designed and coordinated by Xochitl Gonzalez and her team at A.a.B. Creates out of New York City.

The wedding took place at a summer camp, Seeds of Peace, in Maine. Jenna, the bride, worked with her father, a talented artist and architect, to create beautiful watercolors to be used through the wedding stationery, as well as the intricate logo illustration. The couple wanted something beautiful, elegant, simple, and a bit rustic. They had already worked with Mara with the calligraphy and I came in to create the designs and print.

The front of the invitation was screen printed with white ink on wood veneer. The back of the invitation was digitally printed and included one of the watercolors and a Rumi quote. The couple really wanted the invitation to be a keepsake for guests in hopes they would later display or frame the watercolor.

The highly interactive reply card was letterpress printed in gray-blue ink and was double-sided. The backside
encouraged guests to get in touch with their inner-creative writer. I can only imagine the responses!

The envelopes were lined with a digitally printed watercolor by Jenna's father.

The suite was wrapped up in beautiful Italian cotton ribbon and held with a tiny little letterpress tag with the couples' illustrated logo and wedding website.

I also printed flat thank you cards for the couple to use after their wedding. The cards featured a simple monogram and were letterpress printed in gray on light gray paper with kraft envelopes.
A.a.B. Creates has a few photos of the gorgeous wedding on their blog. The transformation of the athletic field house is insane! Thanks so much to Xochitl, Jenna, and Jeremy! You were amazing to work with.
