Tuckahoe Plantation Letterpress Wedding Invitations

This past Spring I worked with the lovely and amazingly-talented Courtney Spencer of Merriment Events on this gorgeous invitation suite.  The couple, Megan and Will, were married this past April at Tucakhoe Plantation in Richmond, Virginia.  I created a very elegant and classic letterpress suite, fit for the season and historic location.

The wedding, photographed by Katie Stoops, was featured on Snippet & Ink.  Below is a peek at Megan in her custom designed dress and her two bridesmaids in their perfectly mint dresses, along with the ceremony programs I designed.

Champagne Inspired Gold Foil + Letterpress Wedding Invitation

Jane and Dana were married this past weekend at The Barn at Flanagan Farm in Buxton, Maine.  They came to me by way of the fabulous Meagan Gilpatrick of Maine Seasons Events for all their paper goods.  The lovely couple were planning a fun, laid-back, weekend-long celebration for their friends and family who were traveling from all parts of the world to Jane's homestate of Maine.  With a love for glittlering gold accents and champagne, I set out to create a festive invitation suite worthy of their affair!

We paired the suite with the bright and summery Vintage Seed Packet Stamps (seriously, how great are these?).  The envelopes were calligraphed by one of my favorites, Astrid Wendth of Astrid Elizabeth Calligraphy & Design.  I did not get a photo of them, but the ink was gold and gorgeous. 

The suite was foil stamped in gold and letterpress printed in grey inks on bright white 100% cotton paper, paired with coordinating white envelopes.

Travel-Inspired Maine Letterpress Wedding Invitation

Nautical Lakeside Letterpress Wedding Invitation

Meghan and Justin were married last summer in Skaneateles, New York.  Their reeception was held at the Skaneateles Country Club, located on Skaneateles Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes.  It is a gorgeous, elegant location and we used it as inspiration for the inviation suite.  We added sublte nautical touches, like a robe border around the invitaion and reception card and wide cabana stripes for the envelope liners.









Each piece was letterpress printed in navy blue on 100% cotton paper in bright white.  I love that Meghan was open to using colored enveopes in a snappy grass green.  It is the perfect way to bring in a second color without adding to the cost of the invitation suite.

Elegant Bird Gold Foil + Letterpress Wedding Invitation

The lovely, soon-to-be-married couple, Bonnie and Tim came to me loving a past wedding invitation featuring two little lovebirds.  They are planning a beautiful nature-inspired wedding at Comme, a contemporary and chic bistro located in an elegant 1880s renaissance revival building in the heart of Melbourne, Australia. 

For their invitation suite, we included an invitation, outer envelope, reply card, and coordinating envelope.  Both the invitation and reply card had an elegant border and two lovebirds in the bottom corner. which were foil stamped in a shining gold.  We chose an elegant, whimsical script letterpress printed in a bright pool blue.











I love how the gold foil makes the birds' feathers look like they are fluttering when the light hits it just right. So beautiful! 

P.S. The lime green chandeliers at Comme are stunning.  They are worth checking out!
